Compare scope before price

One company may quote jetting only; another may include camera passes, footage and cleanup. One repair quote may include permits and restoring the driveway, another may leave those out. The totals are only comparable once the scope is.

Fill in a column for each quote. Leave a cell blank if the quote does not say, then ask the contractor to fill the gap in writing.

Common questions

How many quotes should I get?

For routine jetting, one clear written quote may be enough. For a major repair, two or more help you understand the options.

Is it rude to show one quote to another company?

You can share scope details to make sure they are quoting the same job. Many people do.

Why does this page have no example prices?

Prices depend on the line and the contractor. This site does not publish them.
