Before you need someone
The worst time to choose a commercial plumber is during a backup with customers in the dining room. Take an hour on a quiet day to vet one or two contractors, record what you learn here and keep the sheet with your shutoff map. When something goes wrong, the decision is already made.
Use these checks with any contractor you are considering, including us. This is a preview site for Fullerton Commercial Plumbing: the phone number shown is a temporary placeholder and the request form is not connected yet, and our licensing details will be published here once confirmed so you can look them up at cslb.ca.gov.

Questions to read out on the first call
- What is your CSLB license number?
- Have you worked on grease lines, interceptors and backflow before?
- Can you work before we open or after we close?
- How will you protect our kitchen and food areas during the work?
- What will you give us in writing when the job is done?
Common questions
Can a contractor's license be checked online?
Yes. The CSLB license lookup at cslb.ca.gov shows status, classification, bond and workers' compensation information.
Should we keep more than one plumber on file?
It helps. If your first choice is not available in an emergency, you already have a vetted second option.
What if two scopes describe different work?
Ask each contractor to explain why. The gap between them usually points at the real problem, and a camera inspection can settle it.
