Ask for the CSLB license number and look it up at cslb.ca.gov to confirm it is active and covers plumbing work.
Someone says I need a full sewer replacement. Should I believe it?
Ask to see the camera footage and where the problem is. A single damaged section may have other options. A second opinion is reasonable for a large repair.
Will hydro jetting damage my pipes?
On sound pipe it is a standard cleaning method. On cracked, broken or badly corroded pipe it can make things worse, which is why a camera check should come first.
How is drain cleaning priced?
It varies by company, line and method. Ask how the price is set, whether a camera is included, and what happens if the first attempt does not clear the line, and get it in writing first.
