Repipe examples
Invented examples, not real customers or jobs. Each one follows an owner from the first wet wall to the decision between one more repair and new lines.
Every example here is illustrative, built from common situations. None is a real job, customer or address.
- Hypothetical: galvanized lines in a two-story house
An invented example, not a real job. Owners notice rusty water and a weak upstairs shower and discover their house still has galvanized supply pipe.
- Hypothetical: a second slab leak
An invented example, not a real customer. A family faces a second slab leak and compares opening the floor again with rerouting lines overhead.
- Hypothetical: repiping during a remodel
An invented example, not a real project. Owners with a remodel planned weigh adding a whole-house repipe while walls are open.
- Hypothetical: hot side only?
An invented example, not a real customer. An owner whose leaks are all on hot lines considers replacing just the hot side.
- Hypothetical: two bids that do not match
An invented example, not real contractors or prices. An owner finds that two very different totals cover very different jobs.
