What to ask, and why
How do I check a plumber's license?
Ask for the CSLB license number and look it up at cslb.ca.gov. The lookup shows the license status and its classification.
Will I know the price before work starts?
Yes. We explain how the visit is priced, and any repair or replacement price comes in writing before we pick up a tool.
Can I pick the replacement unit myself?
Ask us when you call. Bring the model and we'll tell you whether it fits your cabinet and lines up with your drain.
What if the problem is the drain, not the disposal?
Then we say so. We confirm the disposal runs free and show you whether the clog sits in the trap or the kitchen line before anyone talks about a new unit.
Who actually does the work?
Ask who will come out and whose license the job is under. You should get a straight answer before the visit.
What happens to the old disposal?
Ask when you book whether haul-away is included or whether the old unit stays with you.
